Allison

Cold was the only feeling spartan-B36 felt as the shower water splashed across her body. She raked her fingers through her regulation-length black hair and sighed. Spartans rarely have a chance to shower, compared to most of the UNSC's citizens and soldiers, she thought as she lathered her body with soap. This water, even though its cold and musty, is like a luxury to us - to me. She rinsed the soap off her body then shut off the shower water. She creaked open the shower door and steped out of the shower with lanky, genetically modified legs. As the spartan walked to the bathroom sink she wisked a towel off the rack next to the shower she once occupied. As she dried her slim-but-tough body off her right arm burned. The spartan momentarially looked at the wounds that had been inflicted by long years of training and combat with the covenant before rubbing it with the rough material again. Once dry the black-haired spartan dropped the towel back on the rack and staired at the fogged mirror before her. She rubbed a circle in the fog so that she could see herself. She barely noticed her glazed over eyes, maybe because she had gotten used to them being that way from so many years of fighting, and instead focused her attention on her battle scars. A few had reopened, which explained the pain. The spartan opened a drawer beneath the sink and took out a roll of gauze. She wrapped up her right arm, taped the gauze into place, then left the bathroom. The spartan then opened a closet and slipped into her Mark VI MJOLNIR EOD armor. Once she had booted up the systems and made sure she could move, the spartan left the room to the nearly empty halls of the Ace-Falcon.

The blue-armored spartan treaded through the peopleless halls of the Ace Falcon towards the pelican bay. When she arrived she approached a green-armored spartan. The new spartan spun around and greeted her. "Hello, Allison. Time to go already?"

"Just about, sir," she replied. A group of ODSTs walked past the pair before Dustin continued.

"All right then. Lets go over the mission one more time." Allison nodded. "So our primary objective is to recieve an AI from a top-secret ONI-funded research lab that has been out of contact with them for two weeks, and according to UNSC colonization records, they technicly don't even exist?" Allison nodded once more.

"Coupled withthe fact that covenant scout parties have been spotted in the surrounding region, I'd say you'd hit the nail on the head..."

"Heh, alright then, simple enough," Dustin said with a smirk. "How are we going in?"

"Pelican insertion, they're sending you down first to clear out a LZ for the rest of us."

"Figures... alright, I'll see you planet side, Allison."

"Good luck sir." The two spartans bumped fists then Dustin walked around to the pelican bay. Allison never felt the need to fall in love with anyone, but she still felt some attraction to Dustin. Maybe it was all the time she spent under his command, maybe it was something else. She shrugged at the thought and then spun on one heel and strode away to the ODSTs drop pod launching area where she would await the order to join Dustin down on the surface of Atlas beneath her.
